The Battery packs are vital components to electric vehicles. The efficiency and reliability of these battery packs heavily rely on the integrity of connections within, particularly the copper bus bars. Copper bus bar welding, as a critical process in battery pack assembly, ensures low-resistance electrical connections, enhancing performance and safety. Factors affecting the choice of welding technique, including cost, scalability, and environmental impact, are discussed. Additionally, considerations for ensuring optimal weld quality and reliability are key factors. This study explores the laser fiber welding techniques employed in joining copper bus bars within battery packs. The evaliation of the welding seams was made with metalographic cross section and SEM technic. The results showed no continuous penetration along a welding seam.the
